Titanium Alloy Tube ASTM B381 Gr 5 Seamless Titanium Tubing 

Ti-6Al-4V, Titanium Grade 5 alloy (UNSR56400) is the most widely used titanium grade. It is a two phase α+β titanium alloy, with aluminum as the alpha stabilizer and vanadium asthe beta stabilizer. This high-strength alloy can be used at cryogenic to about 800°F (427°C). Ti-6Al-4V, Grade 5 alloy is used inthe annealed condition and in the solution treated and aged condition.

Characteristics:

Ti Grade 5 has very high strength but relatively low ductility. The main application of this alloy is in aircraft and spacecraft. Offshore use is growing. The alloy is weldable and can be precipitation hardened.
