Tabular Alumina
Process Of Production:
Tabular Alumina (TA) is a pure sintered a α-alumina materials that has been fully densified by rapid-sintering without the use of sintering aids at temperature in excess 1900℃. Tabular Alumina has characteristic large, well developed hexagonal tablet shaped α-alumina crystals of up to 200μm length. The excellent thermal volume stability and thermal shock characteristics can be attributed to its specific microstructure: low open porosity and large crystals with closed spherical pores, which are entrapped upon re-crystallization during rapid-sintering.
Product Performance:
Superhigh temperature shaft kiln sintered tabular alumina that takes alumina as raw material is molded by milling and drying; on condition of quick warming and cooling in superhigh temperature shaft kiln, it becomes lots of tight column crystal and the dimension of crystal is among 30-200um; there are lots of alumina corundum that has high purity with lots of closed micro-holes.
The special producing technology of this product determines its special performance: high fire proof; high corrosion proof; high scour proof; high stability of temperature shock; good tension and tenacity; stable chemical stability. It is one kind of excellent insulation raw materials for fire-proof, porcelain and electric instruments; meanwhile, it is also excellent material for milling tool and polishing milling.
