Process Of Production
Fused magnesium aluminum spinel is produced by mixing the industrial alumina with the purity no less than 98.5% and the caustic-burned magnesia with the purity no less than 96% and an appropriate amount of high purity magnesite, and smelting with high temperature in the electric arc furnaces,and can be processed with different size particle, fine powder and superfine powder. Its grain is well developed with the features of compact texture and uniform structure.
And it can be processed into various sizes of particles according to the clients’ demands. Application
Fused magnesium aluminum spinel has the characteristics of high bulk density, high thermal shock resistance, strong corrosion resistance and slag- resistance. It is widely used in iron and steel melting, cement rotary kiln and glass furnace, as the ideal material for manufacturing cast sliding plate, nozzle bricks, ladle bricks and open hearth furnace bricks, as well as the basic material for ecotone bricks of large cement kilns, medium cement kilns, refractory castable materials, and first-class and medium-class kiln furniture.
