Product Description
Emergency Shutdown Valve (ESDV) Overview
High-accuracy emergency shutdown valve with quarter-turn operation capable of closing in less than 2 seconds. Engineered for precision and reliability in critical safety applications.
Key Features & Design Specifications
- Trunnion-mounted ball valve design for superior stability
- Fail-safe spring return actuator for automatic emergency response
- Low emissions configuration for environmental compliance
- Anti-blowout stem design for enhanced safety
- Fast response time with closing under 2 seconds
Full Open Position - Normal Operation
The ESDV provides minimal pressure differential when in full-open position. The full bore ball valve functions like a pipe section, minimizing process fluid turbulence and pressure drop.
Full Closed Position - Emergency Situation
When setpoint pressure is exceeded, the ESDV fully closes within seconds, providing tight shutoff with its double-seated design for maximum safety.
