Pneumatic On/Off Discharge Valve for Reaction Kettles and Storage Tanks
This industrial discharge valve is specifically designed for material discharge at the bottom of storage tanks, reaction kettles, and various process vessels. The valve connects to equipment via flange or butt welding connections, effectively eliminating residual process medium accumulation at vessel outlets.
Design Configurations
Available in two primary configurations to suit different application requirements:
Upward Type: Designed for reactors with agitator discharge valves
Downward Type: Suitable for reaction kettles with frame-type anchor agitators
Upward Design Valve Operation
The upward type discharge valve features upward movement of the valve disc (plunger). When opening, the valve disc moves in the same direction as the medium force, resulting in smaller opening torque compared to closing torque. When fully open, the spool extends into the tank interior.
This design operates similarly to a standard globe valve but with the unique advantage of eliminating medium residue at the container bottom. It is primarily installed in reaction pots equipped with slurry type, turbine type, or propulsion type agitators.
