The 6HH1 is a classic Isuzu inline-six medium heavy-duty four-stroke diesel engine, part of the Isuzu 6H engine family. It features a cast iron reinforced cylinder block, turbocharger, and intercooler. Available with two fuel system options: mechanical inline injection pump and DENSO electronic common rail injection.
This engine delivers stable heavy-load output, low maintenance costs, and long service life. It is widely used in regional cargo trucks, city passenger buses, sanitation vehicles, and special modified chassis.

The 6HH1 has two core variants: mechanical fuel pump and electronic common rail. ECU, full wiring harness, injectors, cylinder head, and emission after-treatment components cannot be directly interchanged between the two versions. Different suffix codes correspond to different emission standards (Euro3/Euro4/Euro5) with non-interchangeable peripheral parts.
