QD80 (CYQD80) is a domestic improved light-duty diesel engine developed based on the mature Japanese QD series technical platform. Equipped with reinforced cast iron cylinder block, gear-driven OHV 8-valve cylinder head, matched turbocharger & air-to-air intercooler. Two emission configurations available for global market:
- CYQD80-E3 Euro3: Mechanical VE distribution fuel pump, no complex electronic sensors, simple maintenance structure
- CYQD80-E4 Euro4: Electronic controlled VE pump + DOC oxidation catalytic converter after-treatment system, meets stricter emission limits
Specially calibrated for pickup frequent start-stop, off-road climbing and light cargo towing working conditions. Delivers strong low-speed torque, stable power output and wide fuel adaptability. Widely matched for domestic second-hand diesel pickups and hard off-road SUVs.
