Product Description
Single Sphere EPDM NBR CR Expand Joint Flange Type is a flexible rubber expansion joint designed to absorb vibration, reduce noise, and compensate for thermal expansion, axial movement, lateral displacement, and angular deflection in piping systems. The single sphere structure provides excellent flexibility and pressure resistance while minimizing stress on pumps, valves, and pipeline equipment. Available in EPDM, NBR, and CR rubber materials, the joint can be selected according to different working media and operating environments. EPDM offers outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, and chemicals, making it suitable for water and HVAC systems; NBR provides excellent oil resistance for petroleum and industrial applications; while CR (Neoprene) delivers good resistance to seawater, weathering, and abrasion. The flange type connection allows convenient installation and compatibility with various international flange standards such as ANSI, DIN, JIS, and BS. Widely used in water treatment, chemical processing, marine engineering, power plants, and industrial piping systems, this expansion joint ensures reliable sealing performance and long service life under demanding operating conditions.
