Razor Ribbon Helical Barbed Tape from Anping Taiye, a type of concertina wire, is used to for low / medium level commercail security applications like car lots, storage facilities, and manufacturing lots. It features a .098" galvanized wire core with 1" stainless steel "razors". The menacing looking tape is as much a visual deterrent as a physical one.

Razor Ribbon is often coiled around, and attached to tightened barbed wire strands for additional security. It is important to plan ahead and know how many coils of Razor Ribbon you will need for your project. Each coil can cover 50' with the loops spaced out at 18", but for higher security, the Razor Ribbon can be more tightly spaced (every 12" or so), providing less coverage.
