This dual plate wafer check valve features two spring-loaded plates hinged on a central pin. The internal mechanism consists of two semicircular springs and plate surfaces fixed to the valve body. Spring deformation enables rapid valve closure, while fluid pressure opens the valve, providing protection against water hammer damage in pipeline systems.
