Application
The Dual Plate, Wafer Check Valve employs two-spring-loaded plates hinged on a central hinge pin. The inside of the valve is composed of two semicircular springs and a plate surface, and is fixed on the valve body by a pin, and the spring is deformed to close the valve plate, and the fluid pressure causes the spring to open. The deformation is fast, which protects the pipe from water hammer damage.

4.The dual-plate design produces increased strength with reduced opening and closing time;
5.Torsion springs assist valve plate closure, preventing flow reversal. Consistent valve response ensures against slamming and water hammer
6.The shaft features heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant construction;
7.Shaft supports act as stops to prevent over-travel of valve plates. They are corrosion-resistant with large shaft-bearing surfaces and are easily removable for internal assembly, maintenance or change.
8.Thrust washers reduce friction and wear of valve plate hinges.
