This trunnion ball valve is a quarter-turn valve featuring a hollow, perforated ball that is fixed and supported to control fluid flow. The trunnion-mounted design constrains the ball with bearings, allowing only rotational movement while the system constraints absorb the majority of hydraulic load.

The mechanical anchoring system absorbs thrust from line pressure, preventing excess friction between ball and seats. This ensures low operating torque even at full rated working pressure. Line pressure drives the upstream seat against the stationary ball, creating a reliable seal through both spring mechanism and pressure differential.

Valves are carefully packed in suitable wood cases to prevent damage during transit.
