The Dual Plate Wafer Check Valve features two spring-loaded plates hinged on a central hinge pin. The internal assembly consists of two semicircular springs and plate surfaces fixed to the valve body by pins. Spring deformation enables rapid valve closure, while fluid pressure opens the valve, providing fast response that protects pipelines from water hammer damage.
