1064nm Electro-Optic Q-Switches DKDP Pockels Cells
DKDP crystals are uniaxial electro-optic crystals offering exceptional optical quality with extinction ratios exceeding 2000:1 (measured using 632nm He-Ne laser) and wavefront distortion below λ/8. These Pockels cells feature low capacitance (3-5pF) for rapid rise times under 0.5ns, enabling narrow pulse width laser output during Q-switching operations.
Compared to conventional electro-optic crystals, DKDP crystals provide superior damage thresholds exceeding 1GW/cm² under 10ns pulse width, 1064nm wavelength conditions with standard repetition frequencies.
