LiNbO3 and MgO-LiNbO3 Nonlinear Optical Crystals - 4 Inch Diameter, 420-5200nm Range
LiNbO3 (Lithium Niobate) crystals are extensively utilized as frequency doublers for wavelengths exceeding 1mm and as optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) when pumped at 1064 nm. These applications leverage the material's substantial electro-optic and acousto-optic coefficients.
MgO:LiNbO3 (Magnesium Oxide Doped Lithium Niobate) crystals maintain similar effective nonlinear coefficients to pure LiNbO3 while offering significantly enhanced optical damage threshold capabilities.
Crystro produces LiNbO3 crystals using the Czochralski method, achieving maximum diameters of 4 inches - currently the largest available size in the industry. We offer custom sizing and specifications with surface roughness below 0.5nm.
