9x9x25mm LiNbO3 Electro-Optic Q-Switch Crystal with 32 pm/V r33 Coefficient and λ/8 Flatness
Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) crystals are engineered for electro-optic modulators and Q-switches in laser systems including Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, and Ti:Sapphire lasers, as well as fiber optic modulators. These crystals deliver precise electro-optic performance with well-characterized coefficients.
LiNbO3 crystals exhibit excellent electro-optic properties with coefficients of r33=32 pm/V, r31=10 pm/V, r22=6.8 pm/V at low frequency, and r33=31 pm/V, r31=8.6 pm/V, r22=3.4 pm/V at high electric frequency. The halfwave voltage is calculated as Vπ=λd/no³γc¹, where γc=(ne/no)³γ33-γ13.
We provide both pure LiNbO3 and MgO-doped LiNbO3 (MgO:LN) crystals with gold coatings on side faces for electrode connections. Additionally, LiNbO3 wedges are available for fiber optical isolators and circulators.
