Steel gratings are widely used in platforms, walkways, trestle bridges, trench covers, manhole covers, etc. in the fields of petrochemical, electric power, tap water, sewage treatment, port terminals, building decoration, shipbuilding, self-propelled parking lots, municipal engineering, environmental sanitation engineering, etc. 

19-W-4 welded, heavy-duty carbon steel bar grating is available in widths up to 3’ and lengths up to 24’. Available in bar thicknesses of 1" x 1/4, 1" x 5/16" and 1" x 3/8".

Heavy-duty grating is used in applications where stronger gratings are required. This type grating will span greater distances and, when engineered correctly, is used extensively for rolling loads such as trucks or forklifts.

Heavy-duty carbon steel grating is manufactured by a resistance-weld process. Cross bars are fused to bearing bars to form a permanent joint. Bearing bars are spaced at 1-3/16” on center and cross bars are 4” on center. Available in smooth, serrated, and non-slip surfaces.

Finished available include mill, black primer, and hot dipped galvanized.
