Our T6063 aluminum bar grating features a swage-locked construction that permanently bonds bearing bars to cross rods through a precision swaging process. Available in both I-bar and rectangular bar configurations, this industrial-grade walkway grating offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and durability for construction applications.

Swage-locked aluminum grating is manufactured with either "I" or rectangular bearing bars permanently locked to cross rods through a reshaping process. I-bar swage-locked grating provides strength equal to rectangular bars of the same depth but at significantly reduced weight, making it ideal for projects with weight restrictions.

Both rectangular and I-bar aluminum grating offer comparable strength characteristics. Rectangular bar is available in various crossbar configurations with plain or serrated surfaces, while I-bar is exclusively swaged and always striated for enhanced performance.
