-
Confirm that the motor voltage and power parameters do not exceed the driver’s specified range.
-
The driver is designed for sensorless three-phase brushless DC motors, but not all motors are compatible. If poor driving performance occurs (e.g. startup jitter, reverse rotation, excessive high-speed current, unstable speed, reduced efficiency, or failure to start under load), users may fine-tune the board’s resistors or capacitors to achieve optimal results.
-
The JYQD_V8.20B board is a bare PCB. For motors below 36 W, no forced cooling is required, but proper ventilation must be ensured.
-
The 5 V output terminal on the board must not be used to power external devices. It is intended only for external potentiometers or switches used for speed and direction control.
-
The M terminal outputs the motor speed pulse signal, with an output current less than 5 mA.
- 5V Internal 5 V output from the driver board; used only for potentiometer and switch control for speed and direction.
- Z/F Forward/Reverse control input. Connect to 5 V high level or leave unconnected for one direction; connect to 0 V (low level) or GND for the opposite direction.
- VR Speed control input. Supports analog voltage 0.1 V–5 V (linear speed control from low to high). For PWM speed control, ensure common ground with the driver board.
- FG Motor speed pulse signal output (5 V pulse signal).
- GND Ground for the internal control circuit.
Port Description
- P+ DC power positive (+)
- P– DC power negative (–)
- MC, MB, MA Three motor phase outputs
-
Motor wires should not be too long, as the driver relies on back-EMF detection. Excessive wire length may cause signal interference.
-
The control port uses a 2.54 mm pitch, and the power port also uses a 2.54 mm pitch.
-
When adding a heat sink or mounting the board, ensure proper insulation to avoid short circuits.
