Components of a Deodorant Stick Container

A. Outer Shell (Housing)

• Function: Protects the deodorant stick and provides structural integrity.

B. Twisting Mechanism (Elevator System)

• Components:

  • Screw Thread: A spiral groove inside the container.

  • Platform (Lift Plate): A disc that holds the deodorant product.

  • Twist Base (Knob): The rotating part at the bottom.

• Function: Rotating the knob moves the platform upward, pushing the deodorant stick out for application.

C. Cap (Cover)

• Material: Plastic or metal (sometimes with a mirrored finish).

• Function:

  • Prevents drying out of the deodorant.

  • Protects from dirt and contamination.

  • Some caps have a click-lock or snap-fit mechanism for secure closure.

D. Deodorant Product

• Form: Solid, semi-solid, or gel-like.

• Composition: Contains active ingredients (antiperspirants like aluminum salts, fragrances, moisturizers).
