Plastic Lotion Pump with 2.0CC Dose and 2cc per Stroke Output in 10ml-750ml Capacity for Custom Tube Applications
Primary Usage: How to Use a Lotion Dispenser Pump Correctly
The fundamental operation is a simple press-and-release motion, but doing it correctly ensures you get the proper dose without issues.
-
Ensure It's Unlocked: Many pumps have a safety lock for travel.
-
Twist Lock: The most common type. Look for arrows on the pump head. Twist it to the "open" or "unlock" position.
-
Push-Down Lock: Some pumps are unlocked by pressing the head down and twisting.
-
-
Position the Bottle: Place the bottle on a stable, flat surface like a bathroom counter or hold it steady in your hand. For the thickest products, keeping the bottle upright is best.
-
Press the Pump Head Firmly:
-
Use your finger or thumb to press straight down on the actuator in one smooth, complete motion.
-
You will feel and often hear a "click" or soft "puff" as the product is dispensed.
-
-
Release Fully: Allow the pump head to return to its starting position on its own. This return stroke is what draws the next dose up from the bottle.
-
Dispense into Hand or Directly: You can dispense the lotion directly into your palm, or for some designs (like a ribbon pump), directly onto your arm or body.
