Start with Clean, Dry Lashes: Ensure your lashes are free of old mascara and any oils from moisturizer or makeup.

Curl Your Lashes (Optional but Recommended): For a wide-eyed look, use an eyelash curler before applying mascara. Be very gentle to avoid pulling out lashes.

Remove the wand from the tube.

Wipe Off the Excess: Gently wipe the wand against the rim of the tube. This prevents gloppy application, clumping, and messy blobs on your eyelids. The goal is to coat the brush, not overload it.

Positioning: Look straight ahead into a mirror. Position the wand at the base of your upper lashes.

The Wiggle & Sweep:

1. Wiggle: Gently wiggle the wand back and forth at the base of your lashes. This helps deposit color at the roots, making lashes look thicker and fuller.

2. Sweep: Slowly pull the wand upward through your lashes to the tips. This coats and separates them.

Work from the Outer Corner: Start with the outer corner lashes, then the center, and finally the inner corner. The outer lashes are often longest and can handle a bit more product.

Lower Lashes (Optional): For your lower lashes, hold the wand vertically and use the tip to carefully coat each lash. A light hand is key here to avoid smudging.

For More Volume/Length: Apply a second or third coat before the previous coat dries completely. This allows the layers to build without clumping.

Prevent Clumps: If you see clumps forming, use a clean lash separator or a dry, clean wand to comb through your lashes while the mascara is still wet.

Let the mascara dry completely (about 30 seconds) before blinking heavily or touching your eyes.

If you get any mascara on your skin, wait for it to dry completely, then gently flick it away with a cotton swab. Trying to wipe it off wet will create a smudge.
