According to UN3373, the standards for liquid transportation are mainly as follows: the main container must be leak-proof and the capacity must not exceed 1 liter. Secondary packaging must be leak-proof. If multiple fragile primary containers are placed in a secondary packaging, they must be individually wrapped or separated to prevent contact between them. Absorbent material must be placed between the primary container and secondary packaging. Absorbent materials, such as cotton wool, must be able to absorb the entire contents of the primary container in case they release any liquid substances. The absorbent material will protect the remaining contents from damage and protect the integrity of the outer packaging's cushioning material. The primary or secondary vessel must be able to withstand an internal pressure of 95kPa without leakage.
