GYFTY optic fibre FRP locates in the center of cores as a non-metallic strength member. The cable tubes, which are filled with filling compound, are stranded around the strength member. Completed with a PE sheath. GYFTY cables are available from 2 cores to 144 cores. It is used in high-voltage area for long distance communications.

Characteristics

1.Non-metallic water-blocking tape, glass yarn or aramid yarm as strength member provides high tesile strength.

2.Special gel in the tube offers ceitical protection for the fibers.

3.Steel wire or FRP as central strength member.

4.Anti-UV PE jacket.

5.Resistant to high and low temperature cycle temperature.

6.Changes, resulting in anti-aging and longer life-span.

Applications

1. Long distance telecom, LAN in high voltage area or access to telecom network;
2. For power transmission system, much thunder areas and high electro-magnetic inerference.
