Description
GYXTC8S: Outdoor optical cable with metallic strength member, jelly-filled tube, and steel-polyethylene sheath
This is a self-supported figure 8 optical cable with fibers placed in a unit tube. The cable core is protected against water intrusion and migration by jelly or water-blocking material, and it is shielded by a corrugated steel tape armor. The whole unit, along with the galvanized steel messenger, is covered with a black polyethylene outer jacket.
