Medical PVA Dissolvable Laundry Bags Cold / Hot Water Soluble Washing Bag

Our laundry bags dissolve completely in the wash, leaving no potentially infected plastic waste. The contents of the bags need not be handled until the wash and dry cycle is complete.

Our laundry bags are a cost-effective solution which substantially reduces the risk of contamination and cross-infection to staff, patients and laundry personnel.

Our laundry bags are completely soluble and biodegradable. Contaminated linen is placed in the bag which can then be sealed with the attached cold water soluble tie tape. The filled bag is then transferred to the laundry and put unopened into the washer.

Laundry bags are available in the following grades:

Cold Water Soluble - Dissolves in cold water wash at 25ºC.

Warm Water Soluble - Dissolves in warm water wash at either 45ºC or 55ºC.

Hot water soluble - Dissolves in hot water wash at 65ºC. 

Laundry bags are manufactured to standard sizes: 26" x 33" (660mm x 840mm) & 28" x 39" (710mm x 990mm)

Standard available colours : clear, red & blue

All are available with a clear or red coloured cold water soluble tie.

Laundry bags can also be manufactured in sizes and colours to customer's requirements (minimum quantities apply).
