PVA water soluble film

PVA film has a controlled tensile strength, enabling the needle to penetrate, puncture and come out faster. The film has an embroidery topping and backing application that tears like paper, saving time as the excess film can be torn off easily after embroidery. The remaining film can be dissolved, with either water spray or dampening with warm sponge. Other non-wash solutions such as paper leave fibers and contain formaldehyde.

PVA Film is specifically designed for clients engaged in the embroidery business as it brings many added features to the embroidery process. Useful for stretchy, thin and flimsy fabric among others, it helps to avoid puckering and slipping of the fabric and makes it more stable. Thus, not only the stitch count is reduced but the quality of stitches is also improved. PVA Film is either dissolved in cold water or can be torn away from the fabric at the end. Product Description

This film is used as backing during embroidery to prevent puckering and slipping of fabric,as this film is 100% removble during garment washing.
When heavy tear away backing is used (in heavy embroidery) the embroidered part stands out with stiff feeling and the strands are visible after wash and causes irritation to skin but PVA film ensures that the finished garment has absolutely no sign of embroidered backing.This film also allows the embroidery to be clear visible and ensures that there is no thread breaking, puckering or damage to emboridary machine.

Storage

This film is very sensitive to high temprature and humidity hece it should be stored in protective wrapping and extreme temprature and humdity should be avoided during process.
