PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) is a synthetic diamond product manufactured by sintering diamond particles with a metal matrix under high temperature and pressure. This process creates a tool blank with uniform hardness and exceptional abrasion resistance in all directions. PCD inserts consist of PCD tips cut from PCD blanks and mounted on carbide substrates.
