Description

81AA03A-E is used to output analog signals in thesignal ranges 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA. The module contains 8 function units. lt is thus possible to output 8 different analog signals simultaneously.

Features
The module can be plugged into any PROCONTROL station. It incorporates a standard interface to the PROCONTROLstation bus.
The signals to be outputted are received by the unit in the form of telegrams from the PROCONTROL bus system via the station bus.The telegrams are checkedfor error-free transfer by means of the parity bits before being outputted.
Digital-to-analog conversionis performed with a 12-bit resolution.
The analog signal outputs are short-circuit-proof and protected against mutual interference. They have a common reference conductor The analog inputs are isolated fom the module's intemal voltage and from the PROCONTROL bus.
Within the module, the signals are transferred to the outputs via optocouplers.
The output signals can be simulated individually.
Whenever an internal monitoring circuit responds, this is indicated on the module's front panel by an SG(module disturbance) and an ST(general disturbance) disturbance annunciation.
