Description of single shaft shredder

Single-shaft shredder is a solid waste crushing equipment used to process entangled materials. It is widely used in material recycling in industries such as plastics, wood, rubber, metals, electronic waste, and waste paper. The equipment consists of modules including a blade spindle, fixed blades, a load-bearing housing, a housing support, a feeding system, a hydraulic pushing system, a power system, and an electrical control system. It supports PLC automatic control and overload protection.

After the material enters the housing through the feeding system, the hydraulic pusher pushes it to the blade area, where it is broken down into small pieces by the tearing, squeezing, and shearing action of the moving and fixed blades, and finally discharged through the screen. The equipment features low speed, low noise, energy saving, and high efficiency. Its technical parameters include a speed range of 45-100 rpm and a minimum discharge particle size of 20 mm, and it supports customization of circular/hexagonal screens.

Working principle of single shaft shredder

The material enters the shredding chamber through the feeding system. The chamber is equipped with shredding blades. The pusher pushes the material to the vicinity of the blades. The material is shredded into small pieces by the combined action of tearing, squeezing, and shearing of the shredding blades and is discharged from the screen holes.
