Custom High Wear Resistance Tungsten Carbide Center Bushing with ±0.01 mm Tolerance and Long Life Span
This tungsten carbide (WC-Co) center bushing is custom developed for high-precision rotating machinery, grinding machines, lathes, and automated equipment. Manufactured using ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide matrix with a cobalt binder, and formed via isostatic pressing and precision sintering, it is specifically designed to withstand high rotational speeds, high impact loads, and severe abrasive conditions in center support and guidance applications. Fully customized solutions for non-standard dimensions, special shapes, and compound angles are available to meet your most demanding wear resistance and geometric accuracy requirements.
- Tungsten carbide hardness: HRA 89-93 (approx. 1400-2000 HV)
- Provides 5 to 10 times longer wear life than traditional tool steels
- Ideal for high-frequency start/stop operation and abrasive environments
- Cobalt content customizable from 6% to 15%
- Special grades available (non-magnetic, corrosion-resistant Ni-binder)
- Coefficient of thermal expansion only 1/2 to 1/3 that of steel
- Inner diameter tolerance down to IT4-IT5 (+0/-5μm)
- Roundness and cylindricity ≤1.5μm
- Available with lapping, mirror polishing (Ra ≤0.05μm) or DLC coating
- Solid tungsten carbide bushing (full hardmetal)
- Tungsten carbide layer + steel substrate (bi-metal composite)
- Outer diameter designed for interference fit, adhesive bonding or press-fit
- Headstock center bushings on CNC cylindrical/internal grinding machines
- Live center inner sleeves on heavy-duty lathes and roll lathes
- Center bushings on precision dividing heads and rotary tables
- Auxiliary support bushings on ultra-high-speed motorized spindles
- Wear-resistant guide bushings on laser cutters and winding machines
- Requirement confirmation - Provide drawings, operating conditions and life targets
- Material recommendation - Select WC-Co grade based on impact toughness and cost
- Blank forming - Molding/isostatic pressing + vacuum sintering
- Precision machining - ID/OD grinding, coordinate grinding, wire EDM
- Inspection report - Dimensional report, hardness, density, microstructure
- Precision assurance - Dedicated grinding machines and ZEISS CMM inspection
- Fast prototyping - Single piece available; 7-10 days delivery for standard shapes
- Life validation - Third-party comparative wear test data available
Please provide the following parameters:
- Inner diameter / outer diameter / length (with tolerances)
- Matching center diameter and material
