High Accuracy Split Core Current Transformer , Current sensor

        The current ratio of the current transformer is based on the primary conductor passing once through the transformer opening. The ratio is reduced in multiples by looping the conductor through the opening. A transformer having a ratio 200:5 changes to a ratio of 100:5 if two loops are made through the transformer with the primary conductor. The ratio of the transformer will be 50:5 if four loops are made with the primary conductor, etc.
