They are applicable for test & measurement applications up to 40 GHz, allow these high-quality connectors to meet the highest levels of reliability and repeatability performance. 2.92 connectors are intermateable with most 2.92, 3.50, SMA, as well as K connectors.

Xi' an Elite Electronic's 2.92 mm connector provides an excellent solution for demanding applications requiring high frequency transmission. Although similar to the SMA interface, a smaller internal body diameter (2.92 mm) and air dielectric provide a higher cutoff frequency and other key advantages.
