K2.92mm Male to Female RF Adapter Stainless Steel Material Connector
Xi'an Elite Electronic's 2.92 precision connectors have an impedance of 50Ω and an outer diameter of 2.92mm. They are applicable for test & measurement applications up to 40GHz, allow these high-quality connectors to meet the highest levels of reliability and repeatability performance. 2.92 connectors are intermateable with most 2.92, 3.5, SMA, as well as K connectors.
The male pin is shorter than that of an SMA or 3.5mm to ensure that the outer contacts of the male and female connectors engage before the pin and female receptacle do. This ensures that the pin and socket will not see excessive wear and mating stress seen by misalignment in an SMA or 3.5mm connector. The 2.92mm connector also has a thicker wall than a standard SMA. The 2.92mm series mates with SMA and 3.5mm connectors.
