SMP Male Airtight Hermetic Sealed Limited Detent Interface Depth 2.79 RF Connector
SMP is divided into three types of interfaces: Smooth bore, half escapement and full escapement according to different connection holding force to meet different application requirements:
1,Smooth bore interface with minimum connection holding force, allowing axial and radial misalignment, often used for blind connection or non-precision type measurement.
2, full escapement interface (Full detent), the best connection holding force, anti-vibration, shock performance is the best. Because it is not easy to remove the connection, even though the stability is very high, it will greatly affect the service life and convenience of the product, so it is often used for cable connection.
3, half escapement interface, also known as limited escapement interface (Limited detent), a combination of the advantages of light hole and full escapement, high test stability, suitable for precision-type measurement.
