SMP RF Connector Introduction
The SMP interface is a compact connector, similar in size to MMCX connectors, but with a wider frequency range of DC to 40Ghz. The SMP interconnect series utilizes floating female-to-female adapters (commonly known as bullets) for stacking boards with SMP male PCB connectors. This robust design and the ability to handle misalignment in both radial and axial directions make it suitable for blind interconnection applications. It is widely used in miniaturized high-frequency coaxial modules.
