SMP RF Connector Introduction
The SMP interface is a compact connector, measuring at the same scale as MMCX connectors, but featuring a frequency range of DC to 40GHz. This interconnect series utilizes floating female-to-female adapters (commonly referred to as bullets) for stacking boards equipped with SMP male PCB connectors. The durable structure and ability to accommodate radial and axial misalignment enable blind interconnection solutions. The SMP interface is commonly employed in miniaturized high-frequency coaxial modules.
