The TNC series product is designed as a threaded version of the BNC connector. The TNC RF connectors feature screw threads for mating. These miniature, threaded waterproof units have a constant 50Ohm impedance and operate from DC-11GHz. There are two types of TNC connectors: standard and reverse polarity. These low-cost connectors typically utilize die-cast and molded components. While their performance may not be equal to industrial or high-quality grade products, these connectors are ideal for use in various commercial applications. Widely used for antenna connections, TNCs have many applications in avionics, defense, communications, and general industrial markets. Reverse polarity and 75Ohm TNCs are also available.
