The SMP is a compact, push-on RF coaxial connector adapter that boasts. The SMP is a compact, push-on RF coaxial connector adapter that boasts a small form factor, lightweight design, excellent seismic performance, and broad operating bandwidth. It has an operating frequency range of up to 30GHz (our high-performance SMP connectors can reach 40GHz), and the plug features three interface options: full detent, limited detent, and smooth bore (including with braking). These various interface forms can accommodate the required axial or radial movement for blind mating in broadband to broadband couplers. The SMP is ideal for use in installations requiring high reliability and modular intensity.

Application:
The SMP adapter is a new type of blind RF coaxial connector that provides an ideal solution for modular, intensive installations. This connector has an extremely wide operating frequency range, capable of working up to DC~40GHz. The SMP interface comes in two forms: one is an ultra-small interface with the same proportion as the MMCX connector, and the other is a conventional SMA interface. Both interfaces can operate at frequencies up to 40GHz, providing a push-in and snap-fit connection method.
