SMP RF Connector Introduction
The SMP presents a compact and push-on RF coaxial connector adapter distinguished by its small dimensions, lightweight construction, exceptional resistance to vibrations, and wide operational bandwidth. Capable of handling frequencies up to 30GHz (with our high-performance SMP connectors capable of reaching 40GHz), the SMP plug offers three types of interfaces: full detent, limited detent, and smooth bore (which includes versions with breakaway features). These diverse interface options are designed to provide the necessary movement, either axially or radially, for seamless blind mating within broadband-to-broadband couplers. The SMP is particularly suited for applications that demand high reliability and modular integration.
