SMP is a miniature push-on RF coaxial connector that features a small volume, lightweight design, outstanding seismic performance, and a wide operating bandwidth. It is capable of handling operating frequencies up to 30GHz (our high-performance SMP connectors can achieve 40GHz). The plug offers three interface options: full detent, limited detent, and an unthreaded hole (including with braking). These various interface forms can accommodate the necessary axial or radial movement required for blind mating in broad-to-broad connector couplings. SMP connectors are suitable for installation scenarios that demand high reliability and modular density.
