The TNC series, a threaded adaptation of the BNC connector, is distinguished by its screw-thread mechanism for secure mating. These compact, waterproof connectors maintain a consistent 50 Ohm impedance across a broad frequency range of DC to 11GHz. Offered in two variants—standard and reverse polarity—TNC connectors are economically priced, employing die-cast and molded materials. Although their performance may not match that of premium industrial-grade products, they excel in diverse commercial applications. Particularly prevalent in antenna connections, TNCs find extensive use in avionics, defense, telecommunications, and general industrial sectors. Additionally, versions with reverse polarity and a 75 Ohm impedance are also accessible.
