Both inner conductor(pin/contact) and outer conductor(ferrule/outer ring) are made of Kovar alloy and sintered at high temperature. The surface is plated with gold. Inner conductor has a variety of termination styles such as gold wire bonding, soldering and mating etc. Glass insulators are small, lightweight, hermetic, reliable and have been widespread in electronics manufacturing industries recent years.
