SMP RF Connector Introduction
The SMP interface is a subminiature interface in the same scale as MMCX connectors but offers a freqquency range of DC to 40 GHz. The SMP interconnect series relies on floating female-to-female adapters (commonly called bullets) to achieve stacking of boards equipped with SMP male PCB connectors. This durable structure and ability to withstand radial and axial misalignment allows blind interconnection solutions. It is commonly used in miniaturized high frequency coaxial modules.
