WHITE ALUMINA OXIDE FOR BONDED ABRASIVES
White aluminum oxide also called white fused alumina,white corundum, WA, etc., is a kindly of artificial corundum, HS code: 2818109000
It is made of industrial alumina powder as main raw material, fusing and purifying in a electric arc furnace at high temperature of over 2200°c, and then shaped into different grain size through process of crystal, crushing, magnetic separation, air cleaning, and screening.
Main chemical composition is Al2O3 99% Min.
The texture is dense, the hardness is high, and the granules are formed into sharp corners, which are suitable for the manufacture of vitrified and resin bonded abrasives.
White aluminum oxide can be divided into different grades:

- P sand for coated Abrasives
By Additional treatment:
- Calcined white aluminum oxide,

White aluminum oxide, also called white corundum, is hard and brittle, strong cutting force, good chemical stability, and good insulation.
White aluminum oxide grit size is consistent and cuts much faster than other sand blasting media, leaving a smoother surface.
It is suitable for processing hardened steel, alloy steel, high speed steel, high carbon steel and other materials with hard hardness and high tensile strength.
