Ceramic bead is made by high quality zirconium sand in one electrical furnace under high temperature

over 2000 degrees through special technology.

Ceramic bead is divided into two types: the microblast fine ceramic beads are used for one clean blasting

media in surface finishing,the other one are used for shot peening of metal alloys as well as hard alloys

for aerospace structural components.

Same Working Principle:

Both Selected the compressed air as power, and blow the blasting media out at high speed to impact the

While Shot peening produces a larger compressive stress on the surface than the one of sand blasting

So they will achieve different visual effect:

Sandblasting will provide a dark surface without metallic luster, while shot peening will achieve the matt effect
