This closed circuit cooling tower operates with working fluid (water, oil, or other liquids) flowing inside coils that are externally sprayed with water. Heat transfer occurs through the coil walls, creating saturated vapor when the spray water meets air. The system exhausts heat via a top-mounted fan while collecting water in the bottom tank for continuous circulation. The spray water cools through PVC radiation fins as it flows parallel with fresh air, primarily using sensible heat transfer. This design prevents scale formation on coil exteriors, making it ideal for high-temperature fluids (up to 60°C) or applications requiring significant temperature differentials (e.g., 60°C to 32°C).
