History of Vulcanization:

Vulcanization was invented by Charles Goodyear in 1839. In his patent, Goodyear described the process of using chemicals to change the physical properties of rubber. Goodyear also wrote about the use of additional chemicals to accelerate the vulcanization process at lower temperatures. Known as accelerators, these additional chemicals often include carbon or zinc.

Application:

This Rubber hydraulic vulcanizing press machine is used for molding rubber products, like ruber gasket, rubber sheet etc. It's a customized machine, you can choose higher pressure if you think the pressure is not enough for making your product, like 300T, 400T or 500T pressure, we can disign & make the rubber vulcanizing press machines as your requirement.

This Rubber hydraulic vulcanizing press machine is a down-stoke type, means the middle bolster will move from top to bottom when molding products.

This structure has advantages compared with general rubber vulcanizing press machine:

1. Because the cylinder has bidirectional force, so it's very suitable for mold opening difficultly rubber products.

2. The bottom platen is fixed, so it's very suitable for making continious length products.

3. The height of bottom platen is customized, won't be affected by the cylinder stroke.
