Description
VE9 Slewing drive can be basically divided into single worm slew drive and double worm slew drive.
Advantages of Slew Drive
1. Modularization
Due to the high integration of the slew drive, users do not have to purchase and machining each part of the slew drive. It also reduce the initial preparation process of the product production to a certain extent, thus greatly improve the safety of labor productivity.
2. Safety
Worm drive has the characteristics of reverse self-locking, which can achieve reverse self-locking, that is, only by the worm to drive the worm wheel. This characteristic makes the slew drive can be widely used in lifting, aerial work platform and other equipments, it’s not improving the scientific and technological, but also greatly improve the operation stability of the host and the safety factor of the operator.
3. Simplified Design
Compared with traditional gear transmission, worm gear can get a relatively large deceleration ratio, in some cases, the main machine can save reducer components, so as to reduce procurement costs for customers, but also greatly reduce the fault generation rate of the slew drives.
