Description
In order to realize the tracking function of the solar tracking system, a set of mechanical system is needed to drive the photovoltaic panel so that it rotates with the solar trajectory. Slew Drive
The slew drive is one of the commonly used power drives to track the photovoltaic tracking system, its main features are compact structure; it can withstand a certain radial and axial loads, as well as overturning torque, but also can transmit large torque, deceleration ratio and so on.
Envelope worm gear reducer, its structure includes envelope worm, base and slewing ring/gear.
The base comprises an axle shell and a seat ring, the shaft shell is connected with the seat ring, and the axis line of the axle shell and the axis line of the seat ring are perpendicular to each other in the spatial position, and the envelope worm device is in the shaft shell of the base.
The slew bearing comprises an inner ring, an outer gear ring and a steel ball or roller embedded between the inner ring and the outer ring, which is fixed at one end of the seat ring of the base and the outer gear ring is meshed with the envelope worm.
